The Collect

Give us grace, O Lord, to answer readily the call of our Savior Jesus Christ and proclaim to all people the Good News of his salvation, that we and the whole world may perceive the glory of his marvelous works; who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

Upcoming Events

Announcements:

January 22 – St. Paul’s Movie Night - Subject: Adventure, hijinks and cross-dressing!

Join the zoom group and watch Some Like it Hot, director Billy Wilder’s classic 1959 comedy about two musicians (Tony Curtis and Jack Lemon) in the 1920s who try to escape the mob by disguising themselves as women and joining a female jazz band with Marilyn Monroe as lead singer.  The American Film Institute selected this movie as its top     comedy and, in another ranking, 253 film critics selected it as the BEST COMEDY OF ALL TIME.  Whew!

Sounds like a good antidote for mid-winter cabin fever, to say nothing of politics

fever.  Let’s see if we agree with the critics … and it’s always refreshing to rethink our gender roles.

Come to St. Paul’s zoom room, Friday, 22 January, at 6:30 p.m.  Movie runs about 2           hours.  Bring your own popcorn.
