Trinity Sunday – May 22, 2016

Almighty and everlasting God, you have given to us your servants grace, by the confession of a true faith, to acknowledge the glory of the eternal Trinity, and in the power of your divine Majesty to worship the Unity: Keep us steadfast in this faith and worship, and bring us at last to see you in your one and eternal glory, O God; who with the Christ and the Holy Spirit live and reign, one God, for ever and ever. *Amen. * (1979 Book of Common Prayer, Collect for the Trinity Sunday)

*The House that St. Paul’s Built??? -- *Our two youngest godchildren in India, Navathej and Nived, along with their single mother, are now living in a two-room house with eight family members. There is no room inside, so they sleep on the verandah. AAII, the NGO through which we sponsor the boys, has acquired land to build them a house and has asked for help with funding. Denae Barton is willing to set up an online donation site as of Sunday, May 22nd; however, these sites take a percentage of the money donated. If you wish to donate before fees are applied, please make out a check to St. Paul’s and write “India house” in the memo line. Many thanks to those who have already contributed.

June 5 – Bishop’s Visitation, Confirmation and Reception – on Sunday, June 5, The Rt. Rev Thomas C. Ely will visit St. Paul’s and Confirm and Receive a total of 9 youth and adults into the Episcopal Church. The ‘loose offering’ that day will be designated to the Bishop’s Discretionary Fund, so please be as generous a possible. Bargain Bin Notes

St. Paul’s (White River Jct.) June 4th Bargain Bin & Silent Auction

· From the Garden Department:

When you are spring cleaning, don't forget the garden and yard department. Now is the time to dig any perennial plants from the garden and label them. If you need pots or assistance, please let Anne Jenisch (802-685-2067) know. If you do have plants to share, please make sure they have a label with name and flower color so we don't have to guess about it. Any extra tools and decorations are also appreciated as long as they are in usable condition. For those of you who don't have a green thumb, a donation of a six pack (the plant kind, not beverage) from a local nursery would be great. Thank you much, Anne
