July 5-14 – General Convention of the Episcopal Church
Scott’s Schedule
July 2-14 – Scott representing Vermont at General Convention, Austin TX
Summer Worship Hours – 8 and 10 AM - The vestry decided at our meeting this week that our worship times will remain at 8 and 10 for the summer due to the number of people who would find it impossible or very difficult to attend church at the earlier 9 hour. We will reevaluate this policy next summer. Thanks, Scott.
Three Boys Baking (TBB) – In January of 2018, Three Boys Baking approached Scott asking if they could use our kitchen, one day a week, to do their baking. TBB is in its infancy and hoped they could find a kitchen that was unused during the week and could provide them a first real home. The vestry discussed this situation at length and extended an invitation to TBB to use our kitchen on Mondays 10-4. They began baking in our kitchen on June 11. The Permit sign in our window is connected to TBB. This is an exciting opportunity for St. Paul’s to build connections with the upper Valley Community in new ways. Thanks, Scott
Scheduling Meeting Rooms – as we begin to move forward with the looking for and hiring of office help it is important that our parish meetings get on our calendar of events. This will be more critical as we move forward, but now is the time to get in the habit of requesting meeting space through the office. Our buildings get used by outside groups it is important that we avoid as many conflicts over space as possible.
