Announcements
October 30 - Micah Celebration- 3:00-5:30 - Congratulations Barbara! Barbara Coulter is our MICAH HERO from St. Paul's Church. Barbara, and fifteen other heroes, will be honored at the United Valley Interfaith Project's Fifth Annual MICAH Awards Ceremony on Sunday, October 30, 2016. A photo and a bio of Barbara Coulter can be seen and read on the United Valley Interfaith Project Bulletin Board which is located in the hallway. This year the event is being held at the Claremont Senior Center in Claremont, NH. In the past few years we have filled the Listen Community Center in White River. Last year The Listen Community Center was at its maximum, so this year we will be at Claremont Senior Center, a larger facility with ample parking. The Claremont Senior Center is eight minutes from the Ascutney Exit off I-91 South. This event is an opportunity to support Barb and to meet others from all over the Upper Valley. Tickets are $25.00 ($30.00 at the door). They can be purchased from Holly Hall, a member of our vestry. If you would like to buy a ticket, need more information or have questions, please contact me. A note about our worship – We are currently experimenting with a new form of liturgy where lay leaders begin our worship. This is being done in an effort to share leadership within our parish and to allow lay participation at a higher level. This form of worship is on trial from October 9 – November 20 at which time we will have a brief review of it. This is new to all of us, so please be patient as we ‘tweak’ it, as we hear back from you. Remember, without change we don’t grow, and if we don’t grow we can’t blossom and become who God is calling us to be. Thank you, Scott, The Worship Team and the Vestry.

Prayers of the People Reminder – As a parish we agreed that at the end of each month the list of names in our Prayers of the People would be deleted and we would start fresh each month. Any prayers submitted throughout the month will be added to our list on a weekly basis, please send those requests to Holly Hall or announcements.spc@gmail.com . Please remember at the end of the month to resubmit any names on your prayer list to Holly Hall so that they are included in the next month’s prayers. Thank you, Scott.
