May 14 - REMINDER - UTO (United Thank Offering) In-Gathering - The UTO Ingathering is now going to be "gathered in" twice a year. These In-gatherings represent our thanksgiving for the blessing and graces extended to us through God. These coins really add up if we discipline ourselves to practice doing this. Above all it helps keep our minds alert to the blessings going on in our lives and minds everyday. Last year well over $1,000,000 was given out as UTO grants for world projects - one to Rock Point here in Vermont.
Announcing our New St. Paul’s Pledge Secretary - With deep and heartfelt thanks for the many years that Dee Roberts has served as the pledge secretary at St. Paul’s, the Vestry accepted her resignation this year, and has officially appointed David Davison (after asking, and his acceptance, of course!) to serve in that position. Good Neighhbor Health Clinic Dinners – we need your help!
Who: St. Paul’s Church commits to
What: Provide dinner for 8-10 volunteer staff (entrée and side dishes OR soup,
bread & salad OR a 1 dish meal: really whatever you might prepare at home!)
When: On the 4th Monday of each month, delivered by 5pm,
Where: To the Clinic in downtown White River Junction.
How: Please sign up to provide a meal, either on your own, or as a team with others!

The Upper Valley Haven Food Shelf needs your help – Thanks for your generosity last week! The Top 5 needs at the Haven Food Shelf this week are peanut butter, pasta sauce, beans, rice and tuna.
June 17 and 18 River of Life Pilgrimage in White River – Save the dates for fun and educational events near and on the river June 17 and 18. Details are being ironed out but will include presentations and fun at the Montshire Museum, paddling on the river at Kilowatt Park, worship with Bishops from across New England. It should be a great couple of days so plan on partaking! More information to follow. Keep alert!!

Caring for Our Most Vulnerable Children - Do you want to contribute to the well-being of the children in your community? Consider volunteering as a court-appointed children’s advocate – become a Guardian ad Litem. There are many children in the Family Court system because of abuse, neglect, delinquency or custody disputes.Volunteering to become a Guardian ad Litem means YOU can be a voice for a child and speak to their best interests during the court process - helping get them to a safe, permanent home quickly. Comprehensive training and ongoing support are provided. Next 3 day training is May 3, 10, 17 at the Hotel Coolidge in White River Junction, VT. - Discretionary Fund Reminder – First Sunday of every month. Please be as generous as possible.
- Laying on of Hands – On the first Sunday of every month those wishing to receive laying on our hands are invited to gather at the Baptismal Font (just as you entered the church) immediately after you have received communion.
- Leadership Team Meeting – every Wednesday 9:30-11:30am
- Worship Team meets – 2nd Thursday of the month in the Church Library at 4pm, all are welcome to attend.
- Vestry meets – 3rd Tuesday of the month in the Parish House at6:30pm. All are welcome to attend.
- Brookside Nursing Home Church Services – Please join us! – Second Sunday of each month (Sept-June) from 2-2:30 pm. If you would like more information about this service, please contact Holly.
